Color Coded BOM Discrepancies

Green Rows represent new parts that will be created in your VISUAL ERP.

Yellow fields highlight a field level discrepancy between CAD and VISUAL such as description or quantity.

Gray Rows represent parts to be removed from your BOM.

Blue Rows highlight items that are not in CAD but are needed in the VISUAL BOM.

Red Fields highlight the fields where there is a critical error that must be resolved.

Extended Field Mapping Module

The Extended Field Mapping Module allow users to map to any field found within certain tables in VISUAL. CADLink Users are also able to use the Field Mapping Module to map various User Defined Fields (UDFs) existing in those tables.

VISUAL CADLink allows users to configure CADLink to be able to automatically pull in files with a certain extension based off the CAD file that CADLink is being run off of. The files may be added to Item Notes, Job Material Notes or Job Route Notes in VISUAL.

Custom Logic Module

CADLink’s Custom Logic Module allows a user to develop their own rules to set fields/values using C# code. This module assists your engineers by automatically entering data that can be defined by rulesets, saving time and making processes more efficient.

Using custom logic, CADLink can automatically assign new part numbers to new parts that do not have an existing record in VISUAL. You can set a template formula from which CADLink will pull from and generate new part numbers upon saving into VISUAL.

Quote/Work Order Module

CADLink Work Order Module creates and updates VISUAL Work Orders directly from your CAD files. It compares the CAD BOM to a specific Work Order inside VISUAL.

The Quote Order module works in the same way, and will create, update and compare with a specific Quote Order inside VISUAL.
